Abstract
Adaptation
to
novel
ecological
niches
is
known

rapid.

Here,
we
investigated
genomic

sympatric

races

took
advantage

Baltic
Sea,
where
plant
specialists
using
thistle
species
Cirsium
heterophyllum
C.
oleraceum
co-occur,

Using
genome-wide
association,
differentiation
statistics,
identified

highly
divergent
region
associated
with

western
eastern
