Abstract
Post-transcriptional
regulation
of
gene
expression
is
essential
for
the
correct
development
and
functioning
an
organism.
This
coordinated
by
a
collection
proteins
that
work
together
to
determine
RNA’s
post-transcriptional
fate.
Here,
we
provide
global
overview
RNA
regulatory
protein
landscape
in
Caenorhabditis
elegans
,
insight
into
coordination
activities
context
multicellular
First,
have
curated
comprehensive
list
all
known
putative
encoded
C.
genome,
classified
based
on
domain
functional
annotations
published
experimental
data.
Second,
using
protein-protein
interaction
data
STRING
database,
created
network
highlighted
complexes,
leveraged
this
identify
additional
138
regulators
previously
unannotated
.
Finally,
examined
tissue-
developmental-stage-specific
transcript
data,
which
revealed
strong
gonad
majority,
as
well
dozens
expressed
specifically
each
major
somatic
tissues.
Taken
together,
will
valuable
resource
future
studies

Abstract
Reliable
methods
for
detecting
and
analyzing
gene
expression
are
necessary
tools
understanding
development
investigating
biological
responses
to
genetic
environmental
perturbation.
With
its
fully
sequenced
genome,
invariant
cell
lineage,
transparent
body,
wiring
diagram,
detailed
anatomy,
wide
array
of
tools,
Caenorhabditis
elegans
is
an
exceptionally
useful
model
organism
linking
cellular
phenotypes.
The
new
techniques
in
recent
years
has
greatly
expanded
our
ability
detect
at
high
resolution.
Here,
we
provide
overview
C.
elegans,
including
transcripts
proteins
situ,
bulk
RNA
sequencing
whole
worms
specific
tissues
cells,
single-cell
sequencing,
high-throughput
proteomics.
We
discuss
important
considerations
choosing
among
these
publicly
available
online
resources
data.
