jPOST (https://jpostdb.org/) comprises jPOSTrepo (https://repository.jpostdb.org/) (over 2000 projects), a repository for proteome mass spectrometry data, the reanalysis of raw data based on standardised protocol using UniScore, and jPOSTdb (https://globe.jpostdb.org/) 600 datasets), database that integrates reanalysed data. The rescores MS/MS spectra new scale, to evaluate extent which spectral peaks correspond amino acid sequences identified by search engines. However, metadata registered in is insufficient conducting reanalysis. To address this issue, Japanese Proteomics Society launched journal, Journal Proteome Data Methods (JPDM), accepts descriptor articles detailing can be reanalysed. Within jPOST, described JPDM articles, utilising UniScore. deposited jPOSTdb, link added jPOSTrepo. These accelerations within environment will promote FAIR principles open science.
