Background Project-based learning (PjBL) is a widely adopted educational approach known for fostering critical skills such as collaboration, problem-solving, and self-regulated learning. Despite its global implementation across various levels disciplines, there has been limited comprehensive analysis of research trends in PjBL. Objective This study maps the on Methods We used Preferred Reporting Items Systematic Reviews Meta-Analyses, bibliometrics, network analyses to analyze 2,273 peer-reviewed articles indexed Web Science Core Collection published between January 2014 August 2024. Results Our findings show significant increase PjBL over time, with an 800% growth publications since 2014. The most frequent keywords are engineering education, higher STEM, main areas Education Educational Research, Engineering, Computer Science. United States America, Spain, China leading countries publications. Additionally, shows strong collaborations, particularly organizations USA Asia. Conclusion offers broad understanding landscape PjBL, delivering key insights future studies promoting collaborative among worldwide.

Postgraduate student mentoring and postgraduate employment are two pressing challenges in education today, we focus on the relationship between an effort to address both issues. Based a survey of 725 Chinese students, this study explored employment. Specifically, delves into how influences satisfaction by enhancing employability, which includes academic competence, personal quality capital. The results show that (1) is significantly positively correlated with exerting notable direct effect their satisfaction; (2) capital have significant mediating students. In summary, research highlights critical role bolstering fostering cultivation employability skills.
