This study presents a comprehensive analysis of zero-waste initiatives and circular economy (CE) models in the United States, aiming to understand their contribution sustainable consumption. Employing systematic literature review methodology, sourced data from academic journals, government reports, industry publications, focusing on year 2015 2023. The search strategy involved combination keywords related zero-waste, economy, consumption U.S. context. Inclusion exclusion criteria were applied ensure relevance quality selected literature, which was then subjected thematic synthesis for analysis. Key findings indicate that evolution CE concepts is driven by increasing environmental awareness, leading innovative waste reduction strategies models. Despite significant environmental, economic, social benefits, challenges such as institutional barriers, financial constraints, technological hurdles persist. highlights crucial role standards, policies, regulatory frameworks facilitating adoption practices. The present work examines conceptualization of in Italy, via publicly available social media data. Specifically, we conducted a mixed-method analysis mission statements Italian firms, as published on LinkedIn. semantic network underlined three emergent themes within these statements, referring to sustainability, technology, production consumption.
