Purpose This study aims to investigate the key factors influencing students’ adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot applications in higher education. It further examines mediating and moderating role AI chatbots tech readiness determining effect perceived usefulness, subjective norms, simplicity literacy on intention use applications. Design/methodology/approach A survey was conducted at Malaysian universities whereby 430 students participated 426 responses were deemed valid for analysis. The data carefully examined ensure accuracy proposed model. To comprehend intricate relationships model, authors used partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) technique. Findings results revealed that usefulness (PU), norm (SN), (TL) (TS) have a significant impact significantly influences findings indicated mediates PU, SN, TL TS chatbots. ABSTRACT In the era of rapid technological advancement, generative artificial intelligence (AI) has emerged as a transformative force in various sectors, including environmental sustainability. This research investigates factors and consequences using AI to access information influence green purchasing behavior. It integrates theories such adoption model, value–belief–norm theory, elaboration likelihood cognitive dissonance theory pinpoint prioritize determinants usage for Data from 467 participants were analyzed hybrid methodology that blends partial least squares (PLS) with neural networks (ANN). The PLS outcomes indicate interactivity, responsiveness, knowledge acquisition application, concern, ascription responsibility are key predictors use information. Furthermore, concerns, values, personal norms, responsibility, individual impact, emerge ANN analysis offers unique perspective discloses variations hierarchy these predictors. provides valuable insights stakeholders on harnessing promote sustainable consumer behaviors

Purpose This research examines the complex relationship between usage of Chat Generative Pre-Trained Transformer (ChatGPT) amongst student and their creativity, learning assessment using empirical data collected from postgraduate students. In addition, study explores student’s intrinsic motivation for to understand categories. seeks provide further insights into this artificial intelligence tool in enhancing educational ecosystem all stakeholders concerned. Design/methodology/approach The target population – students post-graduation diverse fields science management. A five-point Likert scale-structured questionnaire adapted earlier literature relevant questions was adopted collection. were two months, resulted 403 usable responses. Ethical considerations assurance confidentiality participants strictly adhered to. Structured equation modelling (SEM) employed explore relationships constructs latent relationships. SmartPLS 4 used these Findings Usage has a negative impact on but increased ChatGPT encourages adoption due its perceived usability. Pedagogical applications aid as require controlled under supervision. Originality/value is innovative context students, where very little evidence creativity exists. Through research, authors illuminate how use affects academic performance, benefiting educators evaluation assessment, policymakers findings implications that help create effective digital education strategies stakeholders.
