In today's hyper-connected world, smartphones are indispensable, but their excessive use is triggering a digital mental health crisis. This chapter delves into the rising phenomenon of smartphone addiction, behavioural condition marked by compulsive usage that disrupts daily life and well-being. Focusing on consequences, examines how addiction fuels anxiety, depression, sleep disorders, social isolation. It also explores vulnerable populations, particularly adolescents young adults, disproportionately affected this addiction. Solutions such as detox, mindfulness interventions, cognitive-behavioural therapy discussed to help individuals regain control habits promote healthier relationships with technology. By addressing complex link between health, contributes broader conversation safeguarding well-being in age.
