Purpose The substantial cost of employee cyberloafing to organizations calls for research into exploring the factors that influence such behavior. Drawing upon social cognitive theory, authors develop a theoretical model unpacks when and why leader forgiveness induces cyberloafing. Purpose In the evolving digital work landscape, where cyberloafing has become a notable challenge, this study aims to investigate mechanisms through which organizations can effectively reduce such behaviors. Specifically, research explores role of employee adaptability in mitigating cyberloafing, taking into account influences temporal leadership, teamwork attitudes, and competitive environments. This study investigates the relationship between perceived job insecurity and employee creativity, emphasizing roles of social cyberloafing talent management practices as mediators moderators in this relationship.
