This paper explores the influence of GenAI chatbot (ChatGPT) and AI-based simulation (SimVenture) on start-up intention through mediating roles entrepreneurship educational outcomes; cognition, competencies, innovation spirit students in higher education institutions Middle East. The proposed conceptual framework was empirically tested with partial least squares structural equation modeling using 166 survey responses from fourth-year undergraduate enrolled business administration programs four East region. findings reveal that ChatGPT significantly promotes intention, while has insignificant outcomes. Conversely, SimVenture platform negatively influences intention. Additionally, improves thereby outcomes directly Furthermore, mediation paths show an indirect outcomes, exhibits a notable startup intentions improved These seek to provide insights for region leveraging enhance entrepreneurial knowledge, awareness, innovation, which leads promoting students’ start their businesses. Theoretically, study contributes filling gap existing literature between AI tools education. is among first explore embark ventures. It highlights need understanding technologies as distinct pedagogical tools.

Artificial intelligence (AI) has experienced a significant increase in its application the educational field worldwide. This study aimed to analyze acceptance of AI and effect on entrepreneurial intentions international trade university students Peru Ecuador. With quantitative approach non-experimental applied design, an online survey was administered from Amos version 24 software used obtain model fit indices perform gender-based invariance tests. Additionally, SmartPLS statistical software, based partial least squares (PLS) technique, employed test hypotheses structural equation (SEM). The measurement presented acceptable indices. When calculating invariance, configural, metric, scalar models were satisfactory, although residual not confirmed. It found that hedonic motivation, habit, performance expectations influenced students' intention use AI. Likewise, it discovered tools intention. Gender age did moderate usage provides empirical evidence influence intentions, offering valuable information for educators, policymakers, technology developers field.

Design/methodology/approach The adopts a quantitative approach uses “paper-and-pencil" translated questionnaire collect data from convenience sample ( n = 650) Jordan. Covariance-based structural equation modeling (CB-SEM) through Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) Analysis Moment Structures (AMOS) v28 was utilized scrutinize variables' direct, mediating moderated mediated impact. Findings three models revealed (1) education has positive on propensity; (2) transformation mediate interaction between (3) moderates literacy, link propensity. Practical implications results offer actionable enlightenments educators policymakers Jordan tailor frameworks, effectively nurturing students' mindset aspirations. Originality/value This contributes understanding complex dynamics technology entrepreneurship. Our modest contribution links findings real-world case two 15-year-old who were inspired by book “Rich Dad Poor Dad” start own business.
