Hackathons have become essential in the software industry, fostering innovation and skill development for both organizations students. These events facilitate rapid prototyping companies while providing students with hands-on learning opportunities that bridge theory practice. In educational settings, the socialization, externalization, combination, and internalization (SECI) model promotes collaboration, creation of new knowledge, integration individual collective experiences, thereby enriching learning with greater depth meaning. The objective this study was to identify factors that contribute optimal development SECI through use ChatGPT, understand their interaction. experiment included undergraduate students business sciences at public private universities in Cusco, Huancayo, Lima, Peru. were divided into control experimental groups, 100 each group. main selection criteria prior knowledge willingness ChatGPT being enrolled a finance course. phases evaluated using group discussions, brainstorming sessions, manual, assessments, exploring impact usage on learning. A comparison description phase conducted. Results revealed while improved quality interaction externalization compared group, it did not have notable combination or knowledge. multinomial logistic regression analyzed phase. Findings showed without explained 63.4 % change internalization, 41.3 %. positive correlation observed between performance tests during phases. However, enhanced generation ideas early stages learning, necessarily increase tacit importance tools such as carefully selectively, especially context acquiring specialized emphasized.
