EXPLORING THE IMPACT OF DYNAMIC MANAGERIAL CAPABILITIES ON INNOVATION: A TYPOLOGY-BASED APPROACH

This
study
examines
the
interplay
between
Dynamic
Managerial
Capabilities
(DMCs)
and
innovation
performance
in
Iran’s
industrial
sector.
We
propose
a
novel
framework
that
categorises
managers
based
on
three
DMC
components
—
managerial
human
capital,
social
cognitive
capabilities
investigates
their
combined
effects
innovation.
Using
sample
of
344
managers,
data
were
analysed
through
Structural
Equation
Modeling
(SEM)
Analysis
Variance
(ANOVA).
Findings
reveal
specific
profiles,
particularly
those
align
with
firm’s
strategic
context,
significantly
enhance
outcomes.
The
results
underscore
importance
tailored
development
strategies
fostering
within
dynamic
complex
environments.

to
management
literature
by
offering
practical
insights
for
optimising
organisational
configuration
capabilities.

jumlah
karyawan
menduduki
jabatan
seperti
kepala
divisi

departemen
supervisor.

64
responden.

kuesioner
skala
interval

sangat
tidak
setuju
sampai
10
studi
lapangan
sebanyak
responden
terkumpul,

Purpose
Strategic
human
capital
analytics
(SHCA)
has
proven
to
be
promising
for
improved
organizational
performance;
however,
research
remains
unclear
about
its
influence
on
new
venture
performance.
Building
the
dynamic
capabilities
view
(DCV),
this
study
investigates
relationship
between
SHCA
and
performance
via
generative
with
moderating
role
of
dual
nationality
founding
members.
Design/methodology/approach
A
quantitative

carried
out.

was
collected
a
survey
form
from
313
members
tech
ventures
analyzed
using
Hayes
process
macro
model.
Findings
Research
results
show
that
capability
mediates
linkages
Whereas,
member
strengthens

their
diverse
perspective,

networks,
cognitive
flexibility,
resilience,

important
SHCA.
