In an era of rapid technological advancement, digital transformation is crucial for high-tech firms to remain competitive and drive innovation. Digital (DT) necessitates incorporating various technologies enhance a firm’s capacity collect, integrate, process, utilize business data. Therefore, this study aimed identify the factors influencing DT adoption technology in context firm performance (FP) with moderating role literacy (DL). Purpose This paper aims to influence top management commitment and organisational motivation on small- medium-sized enterprises’ (SMEs) adoption of circular economy practices in the United Arab Emirates. Design/methodology/approach Data were collected from 438 middle- higher-level managers, owners, directors chief executive officers SMEs through an online survey. The theoretical model was tested using structural equation modelling. Findings results reveal positive relationships between commitment, adoption. Furthermore, partially mediates impact adoption, highlighting importance both direct indirect influences leadership. Background Sustainability in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) which engage heavily manufacturing provides them with an essential platform for implementing environmental strategy, is aimed at reducing damage promoting protection.
