Purpose This paper aims to investigate and analyze the frameworks, policies strategies implemented by Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) its member nations enhance collaboration growth within e-commerce sector in post-COVID-19 era. Design/methodology/approach The study employs a systematic approach thoroughly examining 31 relevant articles using Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) framework. Data sources include Google Scholar Scopus, renowned academic databases. Findings Key findings underscore critical role national, regional global driving growth. ASEAN’s initiatives, like e-ASEAN Task Force ASEAN ICT Masterplan, demonstrate commitment fostering an e-commerce-friendly environment. Adopting flexible electronic signature standards among has also boosted expansion. Insights from Chinese enrich discussion. They identified obstacles business-to-business (B2B) business-to-customer (B2C) that present intervention opportunities. Research limitations/implications study’s offer practical insights policymakers stakeholders seeking foster integration economic advancement post-pandemic landscape. Recommendations derived research can guide collaborative efforts harness digital economy’s full potential ASEAN. Originality/value comprehensively analyzes nations’ cooperation post-COVID-19.
