Purpose This study underscores the critical importance of well-functioning sewer systems in achieving smart and sustainable urban drainage within cities. It specifically targets pressing issue overflows (SO), widely recognized for their detrimental impact on environment public health. The primary purpose this research is to bridge significant gaps by investigating root causes SO incidents comprehending broader ecological consequences. Design/methodology/approach To fill gaps, introduces Multi-Phase Causal Inference Fuzzy-Based Framework (MCIF). MCIF integrates fuzzy Delphi technique, DEMATEL method, TOPSIS technique expert interviews. Drawing expertise from developed countries, systematically identifies prioritizes causes, explores causal interrelationships, environmental impacts compiles mitigation strategies. Findings study's findings are multifaceted substantially contribute addressing challenges. Utilizing MCIF, effectively factors behind incidents, highlighting relative significance. Additionally, it unravels intricate relationships among key such as blockages, flow velocity, infiltration inflow, under-designed pipe diameter deformation, holes or collapse, providing a profound insight into web influences leading SO. This study examines the relationship between Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) disclosures perceived financial performance within context of Islamic finance, with a focus on Maqasid al-Shariah—the overarching goals law. Using quantitative approach, surveyed 350 stakeholders in Saudi Arabia’s finance sector, including corporate managers, investment professionals, analysts, over six-month period (May to October 2024). The findings indicate that perceive positive ESG performance, particularly when companies align their practices principles. Purpose While incorporating sustainability principles into construction projects is encouraged, limited research has established links between objectives and project management competencies across delivery phases. In this study, we used method called Interpretive Structural Modelling (ISM) MICMAC (Matrix Cross-Impact Multiplications Applied to Classification) look into solutions for dealing with climate in India. India’s economy relies heavily on agriculture, which makes it extra vulnerable change. On top that, country’s growing industrialization urbanization have led more greenhouse gas emissions.
