Purpose Digital health or digital healthcare, is a broad, multidisciplinary concept that includes concepts from an intersection between technology and healthcare. applies transformation to the healthcare field, incorporating software, hardware services. The usefulness of technologies such as contact tracing apps (CTAs) depends deeply on acceptance use them. Accordingly, main purpose this study explore usage CTAs by integrating protection motivation theory (PMT) model (TAM) in Jordanian context. Design/methodology/approach Partial least squares structural equation modelling was employed test empirically integrated research against data collected 420 respondents, leading identification important determinants for CTAs. Findings results reveal perceived severity vulnerability have significant positive impact need CTAs, which, turn, affects individuals’ intention It also reveals trust government, privacy In contrast, ease did not find any relationship, hence hypothesis H7 supported. Lastly, social media awareness has use. Originality/value This considered among first studies context integrate PMT TAM gain better understanding critical pandemics.

Purpose This study aims to investigate how the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted growth of FinTech within Jordanian context. Specifically, it examines antecedent factors influencing users’ intentions adopt and use services during this unprecedented period. Design/methodology/approach A quantitative research method approach with partial least squares-structural equation modelling was used test proposed model. Findings The results structural path revealed that drivers behavioural are perceived usefulness, self-efficacy, vulnerability, subjective norms, severity, certainty resistance these explain 79.5% variance intention. Research limitations/implications identifies key for acceptance in Jordan, offering actionable insights policymakers service providers. Building user trust technology (security, effectiveness transparency) is crucial, alongside leveraging social influence (testimonials, endorsements) boosting awareness/knowledge through campaigns educational initiatives. study’s generalizability limited by its sample, drawn from three regions dominated potential users. Comparing actual perceptions, including users diverse contexts (e.g. other developing countries), could address this. In addition, using qualitative methods exploring indirect relationships (mediating/moderating) would provide richer into Jordan. Originality/value While prior explored adoption, studies conducted makes several contributions. Firstly, specifically trends post-COVID-19 era a period marked accelerated digital transformation evolving behaviours. Secondly, extends existing models adoption incorporating “perceived privacy, value, use”, addition established usefulness ease use”. expanded model provides more holistic understanding barriers Finally, empirical evidence market, valuable financial institutions seeking promote inclusion economy undergoing rapid change. focus on post-pandemic context, combined extended theoretical model, offers novel contribution literature.

The main goal of the current paper is to investigate factors that influence Millennials’ adoption digital payments among Generation Z by analyzing potential effects perceived convenience, cost, security, innovativeness, and social on payments. A total 258 individuals in Malaysia were asked complete a questionnaire gather statistics. To assess research model test hypotheses, structural equation modeling with partial least squares (SEM-PLS) was utilized. Smart PLS path analysis results revealed cost influence, innovativeness positively significant determinants payment adoption. This study offers fresh theoretical perspectives for identifying barriers need be addressed. Concerns about privacy lack information or comprehension, aversion change are all prevalent challenges Millennials. Recognizing these limitations allows service providers incorporate measures such as better security features, educational campaigns, user-friendly interfaces alleviate concerns boost

Purpose The main purpose of this study is to determine the antecedent factors smart government service apps intention and its impact on actual use by extending unified theory acceptance technology (UTAUT) in Jordanian context. Design/methodology/approach To achieve purpose, a quantitative method was used test collected data, hypotheses testing through using statistical package for social sciences (SPSS) partial least squares software. Findings findings indicate that media advertising has positive effect both influence peer influence. Furthermore, it demonstrated significant performance expectancy. In addition, there direct correlation between capacity, effort expectancy, facilitating conditions e-government services. Lastly, results mainly show services significantly positively influenced self-isolation. Next, as expected, self-isolation moderated relationship via Sanad application, hence related hypothesis supported. Design/methodology/approach A quantitative research approach with an online survey was used collect data from 306 respondents achieve purpose. partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) analyze collected data. Findings results mainly confirmed that intention use (otherwise known AMAN Jordan) significantly influenced social influence, perceived usefulness and ease use, trust government media awareness. Next, contrary what expected, culture does not moderate association between behavioral app, hence related hypothesis supported. To conclude, show actual app intention, hence, final Originality/value current contributed literature on information (IT)/information systems (IS) switching investigation efforts IT/IS protection crisis era.
