The trends around digital transformation in the space and environment of citizen participatory actions through Information Communication Technologies (ICT) are analyzed based on impact different scenarios human interaction. The manufacturing of hard disk drives involves the intricate assembly numerous components, making testing process time-consuming and resource intensive. To optimize increase efficiency, development a rule-based expert system is proposed. This leverages predictive models constructed from data to identify potentially defective before undergoing extensive testing. By preemptively identifying defects, this approach substantially reduces time enhances tester capacity. Given categorical imbalanced nature data, Decision Trees are employed as prediction model. Specifically, three Tree algorithms explored: ID3, C4.5, CART. In addition, four feature selection techniques, namely Information Gain, Gain Ratio, Chi-Square, Symmetrical Uncertainty, utilized high-impact features. Our experimental findings reveal that coupled with C4.5 algorithm yields most favorable results in terms accuracy, modeling rule generation. Moreover, our study establishes setting failure probability threshold between 0.15 0.70 provides shortest total test for proposed process, supported by 95% confidence level. achievement represents statistically significant enhancement compared existing process.

The city of Santa Marta faces a significant potable water shortage around 1600 liters daily, worsened by insufficient sources and outdated supply systems. Annual precipitation 362 mm exacerbates the problem. Groundwater, comprising 40% current supply, aims to alleviate this, yet doubts linger about source quality sustainability in with over half million residents. This study employed real-time IoT monitoring for pH, dissolved oxygen, conductivity, temperature. Data was Python-analyzed graphed. Results indicate aquifer characteristic fluctuations, maintaining temperature conductivity within limits, but low oxygen alkaline pH.

The research recommends business strategies that allow agricultural units to incorporate value chains reach new national and international markets. Positivist, quantitative, descriptive transversal methodology, with a population (56) production of the department Atlántico, Caribbean region Colombia, according most recent National Agricultural Census (CNA) prepared by Administrative Department Statistics (DANE, 2014), data analysis was carried out using IBM SPSS V.22 program. The adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a growing topic, particularly in the context decision-making processes. However, there limited focus on this subject, especially developing and emerging countries, which present unique challenges distinct from those developed nations. Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) these regions have received insufficient empirical attention, existing literature suggests that variables influencing AI may vary based configurations companies. This study addresses two critical research gaps by examining specific Colombian organizations, focusing SME managers. Replicating scales structured model previous United Kingdom, involves 83 companies Caribbean region Colombia. findings reveal partial differences UK study, emphasizing impact facilitating conditions behavioral intentions to adopt decision-making, while peer influence lacks significance. While 10 out 17 hypotheses replicate results, raises questions about how SMEs Latin America perceive threat, severity, effort, personal concerns, external support differently.

Purpose Lean Manufacturing Systems (LMS) gained popularity among manufacturers globally. However, their efficacy in developing and least-developed countries remained noticeably understudied. Motivated by this research gap, the researchers of study designed a quantitative with structured survey technique to investigate its context-specific impact on apparel industry country. Hence, aimed examine relationship between LMS elimination waste (EOW) operational performance (OP) comprehend how EOW mediates an OP within economy. Design/methodology/approach The collected data from 227 garment companies Bangladesh. These organization-level were then analyzed using structural equation modeling approach AMOS 20.0 software direct indirect effects EOW, OP.
