Purpose The article focuses on cross-sectoral analysis concerning services, especially ICT flowing from China to European manufacturing. aim of the study is analyse Sino-European relations in terms servicification. attempts answer following questions: does China’s relationship with Europe servicification manufacturing align global trends? Have economic shocks, such as decoupling policies, diminished flows Chinese services advanced sectors? Design/methodology/approach This employed input–output models increasing role a supplier It also identified industries that are most dependent services. Findings highlights reliance notable rise across both Western and CEE. dependency particularly strong sectors automotive electronics, there no evidence China, even amidst shocks or geopolitical tensions like Trump presidency. Additionally, BRI had limited direct impact, trends appear driven more by broader globalization processes. Originality/value investigates all countries their sectors’ concentrates related high technology, specifically ICT. Moreover, previous research has focused manufacturing, general, neglecting industry-specific analysis. contributes literature providing insights into relationships between developing developed economies GVCs context digital conditions.
