Background and Objectives: This scoping review evaluates the use of wearable sensor technologies for workplace safety health monitoring in industrial settings. The aim is to synthesize evidence on impact these sensors their application high-risk environments. Materials Methods: Following PRISMA guidelines, a systematic search across four international electronic databases yielded 59 studies, which 17 were included final review. selection criteria involved studies that specifically utilized monitor various environmental parameters relevant workers. Results: analysis categorizes into five distinct groups based function: gas technologies, heart rate physiological data collection, fatigue activity monitoring, comprehensive advanced sensing collection systems. These devices demonstrated substantial benefits terms early detection risks enhancement protocols. Conclusions: concludes significantly contribute by providing real-time, data-driven insights hazards workers’ status, thus supporting proactive management practices Further research recommended address challenges privacy, reliability, cost-effective integration maximize potential occupational safety.

Digitalization, driven by the widespread adoption of information and communication technology (ICT), reshapes occupational safety (OSH). This study examines emerging OSH risks linked to digitalization, assessing its benefits challenges. Through a comprehensive literature review, key technologies influencing are identified, their effects categorized, mitigation strategies proposed. While ICT enhances workplace through improved monitoring decision-making, it also introduces such as stress overload. The findings emphasize need for further research on long-term impacts effective risk management. paper contributes field highlighting ICT's positive negative implications underscoring importance responsible adoption. insights presented valuable policymakers, researchers, industry practitioners committed fostering safe healthy work environment.
