This paper will look at the effect of self-esteem on students' performance in online programming competitions. The competition was conducted a hackerrank platform with 4 rounds total. On each round, there set general questions such as age, gender, etc., but also related to evaluate how much person has. Correlation between and results round average calculated. obtained correlation around -0.11. Based results, conclusion that is slightly low negative which claims too high can result competitions across students.
