Vigilance refers to the capability of humans respond accordingly relevant and unpredictable tasks surrounding environment changes over prolonged periods time. Identifying vigilance decrements can, therefore, have huge vital impacts on several operational environments in which a simple slip mind or deficit attention can bear life-threatening disastrous consequences. Several methodologies been proposed assess characterize vigilance, results indicated that sole measure performance self-reports are not enough obtain reliable real-time measure. Nowadays, monitoring head body movements information about daily activities, health conditions, mental states has become very cheap due miniaturization inertial measurement units their widespread integration into common electronic devices (e.g., smart glasses, smartwatches). The present study aimed understand relationship between micromovements posture decrease while performing psychomotor task. highlighted be employed track decrement during time discriminate conditions high low vigilance.
