Food allergy is a complex disease, with multiple environmental factors involved. Considering the regulatory effect of Clostridium difficile toxin A (Tcd A) on biological processes allergic reactions, role oral exposure to Tcd food was investigated. The intestinal permeability and β-hexosaminidase were promoted by using in vitro Caco-2 HT-29 cells coculture monolayer bone marrow-derived mast cell (MCs) degranulation model. When sensitized mice challenged OVA 4 μg A, specific IgE MCPT-1 levels increased. results flow cytometry ELISA demonstrated that Th1 Treg reduced higher IL-5 induced. jejunum staining showed villus injury MC accumulation aggravated. All findings could aggravate allergy, orally exposed risk aggravating warrant increasing attention.
