Purpose Based on the ability, motivation and opportunity (AMO) theory, this study aims to investigate role of digital human resources management (digital-HRM) practices in influencing hotel employee behaviors, especially their adoption work-at-home (WAH). The objective of this research is to propose and validate a theoretical model that explains job satisfaction in remote work influenced by family-supportive supervisory behaviors (FSSBs) and, addition, evaluate the mediating role work-to-family positive spillover (WFPS) work–life balance (WLB) influence. A non-experimental cross-sectional study was conducted using self-administered survey sample 396 teleworkers Lima, Peru. hypothesized analyzed PLS-SEM based structural equation modeling. results show FSSB has direct effect on both WFPS WLB. In it shows WLB have effects work. Also, influence conclusion, highlights importance supervisor behavior, spillover, workers’ satisfaction. It suggested companies adopt policies practices encourage as well favorable environment.

Psychological empowerment among virtual-based professionals in the pharmaceutical industry: an interpretative phenomenological analysis DOI Open Access

This study examined the experience of virtual-based, contingently employed professionals in pharmaceutical industry - specifically, medical writers (MWs) and their sense psychological empowerment within workplace. Several semi-structured interviews were conducted across 10 virtual-based who full-time for a contract research organization, whose services outsourced on contingent basis to biotechnology organizations. Interview transcripts analyzed using interpretative phenomenological analysis (IPA) identify themes. Three major themes emerged: sponsor-based influences MWs empowerment; CRO-based MW's demands rewards MW profession. These findings consistent with literature, namely Spreitzer's theory empowerment. The suggests that departmental/divisional leadership peer support positively influenced professionals' despite disempowering sponsor/client collaborations.--Author's abstract

In the evolving landscape of digital leadership and remote work, methodological challenges, particularly endogeneity, have emerged as significant concerns. Endogeneity, which arises when independent variables correlate with regression error terms, can introduce biases that compromise validity research findings. This systematic review examines underpinnings in focusing on how studies addressed or overlooked challenges posed by endogeneity. Drawing from 45 seminal articles published between 2019 2023, reveals a predominant preference for quantitative approaches, subset exploring qualitative narratives. While 15 directly tackled endogeneity using rigorous methodologies, 10 did not address it, indicating potential gaps their investigative rigor. study only provides clarity direction future endeavors but also supports advancement methodology business management emphasizing need rigor work dynamics. By systematically evaluating methods used to this advances field identifying best practices highlighting areas improvement. Specifically, it advocates adoption advanced econometric techniques, such instrumental fixed effects models, mitigate enhance reliability outcomes. Furthermore, underscores importance integrating both approaches capture multifaceted nature thereby contributing more comprehensive understanding these domains.
