Cellular senescence plays a crucial role in skin aging, with senescent dermal fibroblasts contributing to reduced elasticity and increased inflammation. This study investigated the potential of Ganoderma lucidum (Reishi) ethanol extract modulate phenotype human fibroblasts. Reishi powder two different vendors was used. Karst, commonly known as Lingzhi, has long been employed in traditional Chinese medicine for its medicinal properties, particularly alleviating respiratory issues like cough and asthma. Ganoderma acid A (GAA), a triterpenoid compound from lucidum, has gained attention for its anti-tumor properties. Herein, we hypothesized that GAA may enhance cisplatin's (DDP) anticancer effect in gallbladder cancer (GBC) cells by promoting DNA damage response, particularly through upregulation of markers such as γH2AX, p-ATM, p-ATR, and p-p53, reducing cell stemness downregulating like SOX2, Oct4, NANOG.
