Abstract
Liver
disease
poses
a
significant
threat
to
global
public
health,
with
arsenic
(As)
recognized
as
major
environmental
toxin
contributing
liver
injury.

effects
of
α‐lipoic
acid
(LA)
remain
unclear.

divergently
selected
for
performance
and

phenotypic
traits
may
also
be
affected

Animal
domestication
leads
to
diverse
behavioral,
physiological,
and
neurocognitive
changes
in
domesticated
species
compared
their
wild
relatives.
However,
the
widely
held
belief
that

inherently
less
"intelligent"
(i.e.,
have
lower
cognitive
performance)
than
counterparts
