Through ethnographic attunement to the emotionally complex relationships between zookeepers and nonhuman animals, commodification in political economy of Copenhagen Zoo produces a form care characterized by coercive cooperation. Amidst constraints captivity, keepers depict as ranging from those explicit coercion, where animals are made work, cooperation, perceived working with. Within this context, zoo can be better understood “cooperative commodities”, lively commodities that cooperating their commodification. The belief cooperation also reframes potential moments resistance opportunities respond thereby lessen emotional toll on when maladaptive behaviors highlight failings captive environment.

Abstract This article is focused on problematic distinctions of difference among animals in the lineage great apes. It combines several theoretical perspectives evolutionary relationships, technological innovation, development body parts as tools, and a semiotic interpretation what André Leroi‐Gourhan called technicity. Vivimos en una crisis de múltiples dimensiones que pone riesgo la continuidad vida humana, pero también su interrelación con otras especies. Esta situación exige experimentar herramientas teóricas y planteamientos metodológicos permitan repensar relación ser humano-naturaleza. Una estas novedosas es Etnografía Multiespecies, sobre cual se han desarrollado diversos estudios desde hace poco más década, mayoría ellos academia anglosajona, menor medida América Latina. A partir un análisis literatura académica, este trabajo plantea el objetivo identificar sus técnicas aspectos teóricos, al tiempo señalan desafíos actuales. Uno los principales hallazgos etnografía ha sido pensada principalmente para investigar humanos; sin embargo, entrada animales, plantas, microorganismos algunos dispositivos biotecnológicos primer plano las etnografías multiespecies, está animando nuevos debates importancia aquello denomina «humanidad» «naturaleza». De igual modo, si bien encuentra marco teórico conceptual multiespecies cada vez robusto, aún queda espacio profundizar metodológicos.

Hace poco más de diez años, la academia antropológica del Norte global bautizó con el nombre "multiespecie" a un modo estudio y escritura que descentra lo humano que, en investigación, presta atención fuerza sociocultural afectiva múltiples cuerpos materialidades composición "cuerpo" social cultural. No obstante, este tipo relacionalidades diversas han formado parte constitutiva muchos pueblos Sur global, subalternizados cuya experiencia histórica, situada encarnada dan cuenta epistemologías modos vida obliterados por sistema moderno-racista-colonial. Es decir, dichos sabido reconocer nombrar nuestra condición frágil precaria, necesita otros seres más-que-humanos para hacerse posible, íntima afectación e interdependencia supervivencia colaborativa; es tan sólo una palabra más, entre otras, llamar al intrincado espacio relaciones forma contenido aquello llamamos "sociedad", "cultura" "naturaleza". En tiempos Antropoceno, esta era aniquilación bombeada capitalismo-especismo rapaz, necesario reconocimiento nuestras conexiones vitales humanos, animales, vegetales, minerales tipos – sus particulares formas ser nombradas plantear políticas colaboración partir las cuales sea posible imaginar futuros-otros, más-que-humanos; futuros hecho, puede ya estén siendo imaginados disputados ahora mismo, desde Sur. De manera objetivo ensayo-manifiesto antropológico es, retomando Robin Wall Kimmerer, pensar "gramáticas [multiespecie] animado" como alternativa estos ruina y, ende, necesaria creatividad conversar otras reorientarnos situadas los márgenes abrazan ese mundo-otro camina nosotras hacia plurales post Antropo-capitalocenistas.

This paper is a product of qualitative, ethnographic fieldwork which looked at interactions between Emirati people and camels. Both in traditional Bedu contexts among contemporary breeders/riders/racers the Arabian Gulf, camels have been useful to as an economic resource or symbolic tool, but they also agents creating paths for human cultural activity. They are lens through observe their society, yet perceived beings with lifeworlds own. In humanizing effort can represent what inherently cultural, be seen separate that inform people's worldviews. Recognizing animals' agency, observing obliteration subject–object boundaries animal-centric cultures requires fundamental ontological revisions. aims propose paradigm multispecies ethnography studies, rooted exploring entanglements anthropological phenomenology object-oriented ontology.
