Abstract Green finance plays a crucial bridge as an intermediary between and the environment, facilitating resource allocation. The disclosure of environmental information (EID) is vital for promoting sustainable economic development. This study utilizes panel data covering period from 2012 to 2019, focusing on Chinese companies listed in high‐polluting industries. findings demonstrate that green policies have significant positive impact EID, while increased managerial power has detrimental effect. However, can mitigate negative consequences arising moral hazard adverse selection resulting power. They enhance quality EID by restricting long‐term loan resources polluting entities. heterogeneity test reveals effectiveness varies across different regions China. Introduction Addressing climate change requires both individual behavioral and corporate transformation, as organizations play a crucial role in sustainable society. How sustainability is perceived implemented, depends on diverse factors such management practices, communication, attitudes, behaviors of leaders employees. However, current research only investigates that affect the implementation development practices separately. Hence, holistic approaches are required to provide insight into how they company’s efforts. Methods A quantitative online survey with n = 87 employees was conducted Germany 2023. The Corporate Sustainability Index (CSI) developed indicate extent which implement their policies concrete practices. To investigate predict sustainability, we analyzed employee-, management-, organization-related using multiple linear regression analysis. Results Institutionalized responsibility for strongest predictor CSI, along top-down approach sustainability. In contrast, employees’ environmental awareness organizational citizenship behavior towards environment were not related CSI. Abstract Much psychologically oriented micro‐CSR research emphasizes intra ‐individual processes, leading to a relative omission of the role interactions among individuals in managing CSR. This limitation hinders potential such explain CSR as an organizational‐level outcome. We adopt meta‐synthesis methodology extract insights on inter processes management from existing literature that examines CSR's microfoundations beyond purely psychological perspective. By incorporating causal mechanism approach into our meta‐synthesis, we develop theoretical framework comprising three mechanisms elucidate how individual behaviours and differing sets dominant actor types (including change agents, supporters, opportunists, resisters top senior management) foster substantive or incremental progress its obstruction within firms. Our findings establish foundation for further individual‐level temporal dynamics management, conditions under which firms are more likely implement impactful initiatives.

Introduction: Values define the organizational culture, identity, and other essential attributes of company.
