The aim of the article was to identify impact distance learning on development information and communication skills students in higher education institutions. examined technology (ICT) It has been found that context pandemic, educational institutions were forced switch a format, which emphasised importance digital literacy technical competence students. is determined ICT crucial for modern professional study surveyed 100 about their experience using learning, conducted three stages with different specialities views changes level competencies. results showed have significantly improved working software, online resources interacting environment. The disparity in access to essential healthcare resources and services is exacerbated by the digital divide, which presents a significant obstacle health education. Effective tactics advance equity provide equitable for telehealth are needed close this gap. Digital databases such as PubMed, MEDLINE, Scopus, Web of Science, Google Scholar were used conduct systematic review. Keywords Boolean operators including "digital divide," "health education," equity," "telehealth," literacy," "strategies" literature search process. Only peer-reviewed English-language papers that addressed methods bridging divide education accepted after being screened accordance with preset inclusion exclusion criteria. results compiled using narrative synthesis method data retrieved synthesized aid suitable quality assessment tools. Abstract The past two decades have witnessed a surge of distance learning in higher education across the world. Scholars argued that this is due to increasing use and recognition technologies act as means, channel source for internationalization knowledge. Further, at (IaD) has seen rapid increase universities Ghana, sub‐Saharan Africa, increased digital high demand foreign education. Yet, there remains limited research about role facilitating mediating IaD countries Africa. The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated the implementation of online assessments at an unprecedented pace. required most higher education institutions worldwide to implement almost overnight. study aimed gain understanding auditing students' perceptions and e-proctoring systems during pandemic. A web-based questionnaire was administered postgraduate students who had taken part in remote open distance e-learning university South Africa, invigilated via software, which introduced 2020 academic year. total 238 participated study. Factor analysis, using principal component factor performed identify factors or components that possibly caused variation these e-proctoring. Varimax with Kaiser normalisation used as a rotation method. This process revealed five main explained variations participants' perceptions, namely: Component 1—emotions (assessments), appropriateness fairness monetary aspects, time; 2—practical IT matters, integrity (e-proctoring) cheating (e-proctoring); 3—practical matters emotions 4—practical (assessments) time (assessments); 5—cheating (assessments). Implications findings for educators are offered, along recommendations future research.
