Developing children’s self-regulation skills in the school environment is essential for development of self-directed learners. It important to note that can be developed classroom. Teachers play a crucial role supporting self-regulated learners, including creating necessary learning and designing tasks used instruction. Higher education appears to be undergoing the most significant transformations due integration of artificial intelligence into teaching, learning, feedback provision, assessment, writing, and growing role AI in student research. Several aspects have already been studied, such as institutional adoption policies guidelines (Jin et al., 2025), Intelligent Tutoring Systems, Automated Assessment Feedback (Ramadhan 2024). On other hand, certain topics, deepfakes their consequences for remain underexplored. Deepfakes refer use create media—such photos, audio, video content—that authentic but is, reality, artificially generated.

Abstract This research aimed to determine the perspectives of Turkish instructors English on use AI tools by learners their writing skill development given increasing prevalence these among language learners. Thus, are significant in this sense. In study, we used a Q-methodological approach question 40 from state university Istanbul about issue. Upon completion Q-set grid, conducted interviews with 5 participants gain deeper understanding students for improvement. The preliminary results showed that participant were both optimistic and pessimistic improve skills students, as they accepted facilitated learning process lessening workload instructors, though unsure consequences might lead outputs less authentic creative also brought up some ethical concerns, including plagiarism. Based findings, practical policy implications have been proposed, while acknowledging study’s limitations offering directions future research.

Educator preparation, personalized learning (PL) implementation, and applications of Generative AI converge as three interrelated systems that, when carefully designed, can help achieve the long-sought goal providing inclusive education for all learners. However, realizing this potential comes with challenges resulting from theoretical complexities technological constraints. This article provides a analysis complex interconnectedness among these guided by Cultural-Historical Activity Theory (CHAT). Building on analysis, we introduce CoPL, multi-agent system consisting multiple agents distinct functions that facilitate PL design engage pre-service teachers (PSTs) in dynamic conversations while prompting them to reflect inclusivity agent-generated instructional suggestions. We describe affordances limitations professional tool PSTs develop competencies designing meet diverse needs Finally, discuss future research refining CoPL its practical applications.

Student feedback engagement is often reported as unsatisfactorily low, undermining the effectiveness of in higher education. The emergence Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) has created new opportunities to enhance student through its unique affordances. However, assuming that GenAI a panacea for disengagement can be misleading, it also presents substantial challenges. Therefore, essential understand how students engage comprehensively with feedback. such understanding lacking literature. To close research gaps, this study investigated college engaged provided by ChatGPT on their International English Language Testing System writing tasks. Sixteen undergraduates voluntarily participated unobtrusive observations and stimulated recall interviews. Their was classified into cognitive, metacognitive, affective behavioural aspects. findings reveal participants employed more cognitive strategies than metacognitive ones, experienced minimal emotional resistance, exhibited varying levels trust ChatGPT's Additionally, participants' appeared superficial when requesting feedback, interacting revising literacy, including prompt engineering, evaluative judgement, reflexivity, ethical decision-making meta-cognitive skills, should cultivated foster students' active context.
