The present study aims to validate a new scale, i.e., self-efficacy beliefs in peer feedback (SEBPF),using an advanced method of bifactor ESEM. Informed by sociocognitive theory and self-regulated learning, the SEBPF was designed measure five distinct factors: self-incentives forpeer feedback, perceived use confidence managing stress inpeer setting proximal goals for feedback. items scale weredeveloped extracting relevant themes from published studies conducting interviews with asample English as Foreign Language (EFL) student writers China. This paper provides acomprehensive account developing validating process scale. Comparisonsof confirmatory factor analysis exploratory support criterion-related validityof coherent 5-factor structure comprising 22 items, indicating reliability multifacetednature findings demonstrate robustness practicalapplicability assessing EFL writers’ associated peerfeedback, well its predictive effects on different sub-scores writing performance. Abstract Recently, a new construct referred to as autonomous single language interest (ASLI) has been introduced in the educational psychology field. ASLI postulates that second (L2) students who have one autonomously oriented goal for studying L2 during their learning setting (e.g., university study) are likely make greater achievements than those with low ASLI. However, it remains unclear how predicts later vocabulary achievement and whether its stability or fluctuation achievement. A total of 161 Saudi undergraduate English an enrolled Department were followed up three times over 17 weeks. We used latent growth curve model (LGCM) assess ASLI, see which knowledge. The results LGCM suggest initial high levels (i.e. stability), but not fluctuation, predicted significant increase In other words, started course maintained this sole interest/goal time appeared higher time. Methodological pedagogical implications discussed.

This study investigated whether the Internet Addiction Test (IAT) and Smartphone Scale-Short Version (SAS-SV) capture separate Internet-related disorders, comparing CFA, Set-ESEM, Full-ESEM models on a sample of 839 participants (59.1% females; Mage = 30.31, SD 10.05). The ESEM solution was selected based fit-indices [χ2 506.810; df 248, p < .001; CFI .976; TLI .963; RMSEA .035 (.031–.040); SRMR .019; AIC 70,390.955; BIC 71,269.364; aBIC 70,678.693], inter-factor correlations (.232 r .595), parameter estimates (significant primary target loadings reduced cross-loadings), theoretical interpretability. highlights conceptual overlap between smartphone addiction emphasises importance when two or more sets constructs are included in single model.
