Ongoing
environmental
changes
alter
how
natural
selection
shapes
animal
migration.
Understanding
these
play
out
theoretically
can
be
done
using
evolutionary
game
theoretic
(EGT)
approaches,
such
as
looking
for
evolutionarily
stable
strategies.
Here,
we
first
describe
historical
patterns
of
EGT
models
have
explored
different
drivers
We
find
that
there
are
substantial
gaps
in
both
the
taxa
(mammals,
amphibians,
reptiles,
insects)
and
mechanisms
(mutualism,
interspecific
competition)
included
past

enemy
interactions,
including
parasites,
increasingly
considered
migration,
they
remain
least
studied
factors

to

Furthermore,

papers

at

perturbations

Pathogen
infection
has
been
progressively
recognized
as
a
potential
driver
of
animal
migration,
and
the
pattern
in
certain
host
may
be
related
to
its
migration
status.
Nestling
viability
can
crucial
life
stage
evolution
cycle
but
have
irregularly
studied
date.
In
this
study,
we
tested
‘migratory
exposure'
hypothesis
by
comparing
prevalence
diversity
avian
haemosporidian
parasites
breeding
area
between
two
dominant
species
including
adults
nestlings:
yellow‐rumped
flycatcher
Ficedula
zanthopygia
,
which
is
summer
migratory
species,
Japanese
tit
Parus
minor
local
resident
species.
The
harboured
more
diverse
parasite
lineages
than
tit,
line
with
expectation
hypothesis,
while
nestlings
present
similar
applicable
pattern.
Among
40
unique
identified
lineages,
only
one
was
shared
three
age
classes.
Nestlings
suffered
high
plenty
age‐specific
area,
mainly
Leucocytozoon
suggest
an
extraordinary
selection
pressure
early
life‐stages
during
migration.
However,
most
common
were
not
detected
nestlings,
significantly
lower
adults.
Our
results
that
birds
from
frequent
infections
escaped
virulent
at
same
time.

Abstract
Migration,
the
recurring
movement
of
animals
between
habitats,
can
exert
pressures
on
pathogens
they
host.
Properties
host
populations
determine
pathogen
strategy
(e.g.
virulence)
to
increase
fitness.
To
study
effect
adding
a
resistant
compartment
virulence
evolution,
we
developed
an
SIRS
model
and
examined
winning
across
different
rates
recovery
immunity
loss.
We
find
that
when
hosts
spend
relatively
long
time
in
class,
more
virulent
evolves.
These
results
have
implications
conservation
migratory
animal
afflicted
by
disease.
