ABSTRACT
For
the
time
being,
there
is
limited
research
focused
on
open
innovation
approaches
that
promote
development
and
growth
of
stakeholder‐driven
circular
economy
models.
This
article
addresses
this
knowledge
gap.
Its
objectives
are
threefold:
Firstly,
it
describes
key
elements
value
cocreation.
Secondly,
utilizes
findings
from
a
comprehensive
systematic
review
to
identify
opportunities
challenges
related
paradigm.
Thirdly,
presents
theoretical
implications
an
action
plan,
alongside
future
avenues,
highlight
importance
engaging
in
collaborative
behaviors
with
stakeholders.
It
emphasizes
cocreation
culture
encourages
sharing
resources,
competencies,
capabilities,
while
safeguarding
organizations'
intellectual
properties.
Such
practices
aim
foster
coupled
support
strategies
like
resource
recovery,
reverse
logistics,
industrial
symbiosis,
among
others.
Unlike
many
other
articles,
contribution
clearly
specifies
scope
for
practitioners
develop
ecosystems
increase
practitioners'
bottom
lines,
reducing
their
environmental
impacts.

ABSTRACT
Seeking
a
successful
balance
between
economic
growth
and
the
natural
environment,
more
companies
are
attempting
to
embrace
circular
economy
(CE).
Yet,
how
take
first
step
towards
transition?
This
study
answers
such
meaningful
question
by
delving
into
innovation
management
support
implementation
of
CE
in
businesses.
In
detail,
present
research
addresses
nexus
green
organisations,
besides
observing
adoption
open
strategies.
Green
innovation,
understood
as
learning
process
through
adopting
novel
practices,
technologies
or
products,
has
been
associated
with
implementation,
although
their
effective
relationship
typically
overlooked
assumed.
On
other
hand,
may
further
accelerate
circular‐oriented
encompassing
collaborative
approach
where
leverage
external
ideas
technologies.
Using
covariance‐based
structural
equation
modelling
on
sample
318
European
companies,
our
examines
interplay
phenomena.
We
find
that
product
enable
acquire
essential
resources
implement
especially
when
relying
upon
mechanisms.
As
result,
this
demonstrated
synergic
these
strategies,
offering
new
insights

generalisable
claims.

Purpose
There
is
an
urgent
call
for
transitioning
towards
a
circular
economy
(CE)
in
housing.
Pivotal
to
this
transition
implementing
business
models
aligned
with
CE
principles,
such
as
the
ones
informed
by
product-service
system
(PSS).
However,
incorporating
PSS
into
housing
realize
faces
significant
challenges
within
industry
characterized
systemic
rigidity
and
institutional
inertia.
This
study
investigates
barriers
faced
deploying
its
potential
Design/methodology/approach
The
authors
conducted
15
semi-structured
interviews
stakeholders
experienced
deployment
of
projects.
Analysis
used
deductive
coding,
guided
theory’s
regulative,
normative
cultural-cognitive
pillars,
followed
inductive
coding
development.
Findings
Twelve
key
emerged
across
three
underlying
significance
not
only
regulative
but
also
barriers.
findings
indicate
that
current
environment
impedes
establishment
legitimacy
Practical
implications
Following
findings,
diversified
support
enabled
collaborative
effort
