Abstract
Adolescent
development
is
increasingly
shaped
by
social
media
contexts,

implications

well‐being.
In
this
commentary,
we
discuss

present
conceptual
methodological
alternatives
two
persistent
limitations
in
prior
research.

most
work

time,
implicitly
treating
