This paper aimed to describe the prevalence of dental caries in Quilombola schoolchildren aged 5 12 years using DEF-T (decayed, extracted and filled teeth) DMF-T missing indices. A cross-sectional study. The sample consisted 47 schoolchildren, between old, both sexes, a municipal school located community Tocantins state (Brazil). participants underwent clinical oral examination, performed by dentist. Despite relatively low rates (DEF-T at 1.5 1.24), was 78.72%, being higher males than females. In addition, only 5.4% with some experience received restorative treatment. conclusion, while DEF-T/DMF-T index 2.85 (± 2.84) for females, 3.71 3.52) males.

This study evaluated territorial disparities in dental care for disabled persons Brazil’s public healthcare system from 2014 to 2023. This study aimed to identify the association between management and human resource factors with performance of dental care provided patients special health needs (SHCN) in secondary Brazil second cycle Program for Quality Improvement Access Dental Specialty Centers (PMAQ-CEO).This is a data analysis from PMAQ-CEO, which evaluated 1097 (DSCs), conducted 2018. Seventeen independent variables taken dentists' training, team characteristics were analyzed assess their influence on reported "Performance SHCN patients". Objetivo: Fazer uma revisão integrativa a respeito do atendimento de pacientes com necessidades especiais (PNE) em Centros Especialidades Odontológicas (CEO) no Brasil. Métodos: Para as buscas nas bases eletrônicas PubMed, BBO e LILACS, Google Scholar, foram utilizados português, espanhol inglês, os descritores termos livres: “pessoas deficiência”, “pessoa necessidade especial”, incapacidade”, odontologia, “atenção secundária à saúde”, secundária”, “centro especialidades odontológicas”, CEO, “disabled persons”, handicapped, “people with disabilities”, dentistry, “secondary care”, “dental specialty center” ,“secondary care centers”, “personas con discapacidad”, “atención secundaria salud” especialidad dental”. Não foi feita restrição quanto ao idioma, mas o período consultado 2016 2021. Incialmente excluídas duplicatas, seguida textos cujos títulos resumos não estivessem acordo critéios inclusão. Uma vez eleitos serem incluídos após leitura na íntegra, extração dos dados interesse: autor (ano), tipo estudo, caracterização da amostra, local, objetivo, resultados principais conclusão. A análise qualidade metodológica risco viés estudos por meio ferramenta Quality Assessment Tool for Quantitative Studies Effective Public Health Practice Project. Resultados: De 383 estudos, cinco incluídos.
