Standing at the intersection between geographies of care and children’s geographies, we present three ethnographic stories (emerging from studies) through which argue that, as a result pandemic confinement in Chile, places within their landscapes shifted twofold sense: First, given de-mobilisation spatial concentration spaces home, place became closer to adults,’ suspending usual segregation that separates them. And second, tandem with this new proximity refer in-person family relationships, possibilities for involvement children practices emerged. This rearrangement brings fore two interrelated aspects perspective. kind amount time spent shared space “normal” times was not enough perspective needs interests. even though are usually seen subjects care, they people who others able take on more caring responsibilities than ones expected to.
