Abstract
Interleukin‐18
(IL‐18)
is
a
vital
pro‐inflammatory
cytokine
crucial
for
immune
regulation.
Despite
its
significance,
bibliometric
analysis
in
this
field
lacking.
This
study
aims
to
quantitatively
and
qualitatively
assess
IL‐18
research
construct
intellectual
base
predict
future
hotspots.
We
conducted
thorough
search
on
the
Web
of
Science
Core
Collection
relevant
publications
between
1
January
2012
31
December
2022.
English‐language
articles
reviews
were
included.
Visual
was
performed
using
various
tools
including
VOSviewer,
Citespace,
Microsoft
Excel.
Our
covers
interleukin‐18
literature
from
2022,
exploring
trends
comprehensively.
Key
institutions
like
Yale
University
Shanghai
Jiao
Tong
emerged
as
significant
contributors.
Prolific
authors
such
Kanneganti
Dinarello
made
notable
contributions.
Main
focus
areas
included
biology,
medicine,
immunology.
Co‐citation
highlighted
influential
