Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is an escalating global health concern with significant implications for cancers. Waist circumference (WC) and body mass index (BMI) are considered useful for the diagnosis of metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD). This study aimed to investigate association between roundness (BRI) a shape (ABSI) with incident MASLD, in comparison WC BMI. Retrospective cohort data from Japanese health check-up program were analyzed.
