Objective To investigate the value of tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) and fecal calprotectin in early diagnosis prognosis sepsis-associated encephalopathy (SAE). Methods We recruited 150 patients with sepsis, admitted from January 2020 to 2022. Of these, 80 had SAE 70 did not. The levels serum TNF- α while intensive care unit were measured correlated acute physiology chronic health evaluation scoring system II (APACHE II) score, sequential organ failure assessment (SOFA) score 28-day mortality. examined TNF-α SAE. Results APACHE SOFA scores mortality group significantly higher than those sepsis group, which indicated that condition was more critical. In positively ( P < 0.05), may be related disease severity. Assessing level alongside is highly valuable for determining poor prognoses patients. Conclusions involved pathogenesis Both have high specificity sensitivity diagnosis. Moreover, they good predictive can serve as prognostic indicators.
