The Use of Canola for Biofuel Production in the Context of Energy Security—A Systematic Literature Review

This
study
examines
the
evolving
role
of
canola
biofuel
in
achieving
energy
security,
analyzing
its
historical
significance,
current
challenges,
and
prospects.
Once
a
dominant
feedstock
for
biodiesel
production

decline
relevance
due
to
emergence
second-
third-generation
biofuels,
which
offer
greater
economic
environmental
advantages.
The
research
highlights
key
factors
influencing
this
shift,
including
high
costs,
resource-intensive
cultivation,
suboptimal

cycle

causality
analyses,
finds
no
definitive
relationship
between
oil
prices
frequency
scientific
publications
on
suggesting
other
drivers,

advancements,

A Comparative Study on the Interaction Performance of the Striped Flea Beetle with Different Fungal Entomopathogens

The
striped
flea
beetle
(SFB),
Phyllotreta
striolata,
is
a
significant
pest
of
cruciferous
crops.
Entomopathogenic
fungi
(EPF)
hold
great
promise
for
the
integrated
management
(IPM)
SFB.
However,
lack
understanding
different
interactions
between
SFB
and
EPF
restricts
development
mycoinsecticides.
This
study
aims
to
elucidate
interaction
performance
with
three
EPF—Beauveria
bassiana
BbPs01
(Bb),
Metarhizium
robertsii
MrCb01
(Mr),
Cordyceps
javanica
IjH6102
(Cj).
bioassay
results
indicated
that
virulences
adults
were
recorded
as
Bb
>
Mr
Cj.
Then,
distinct
infection
pathways
observed,
in
which
penetrated
cuticle
via
germ-tubes
appressoria,
typically
invaded
