The use of social media for disseminating health information to adolescents and young adults has garnered significant ttention, showing promising results. Younger audiences increasingly prefer mobile aggregators their informative needs, considering these platforms reliable sources, particularly sexual general topics. This paper discusses the findings a two-year project conducted in Italy—in collaboration with group non-profit organizations—funded by Ministry Health, intending explore media-based communication strategies aimed at prevention individuals aged 18 25. objective was leverage Instagram engage people, enhancing awareness about risks STIs HIV/AIDS promoting preventive behaviors.
