This study examines the connection between schadenfreude, personality traits (narcissism and jealousy), e-consumers' purchase intentions toward counterfeit products in a GCC nation, specifically Saudi Arabia. It aims to understand how these schadenfreude affect likelihood of purchasing sustainable online. A quantitative cross-sectional design was used, with data collected from 309 e-consumers via an online survey. Stratified random sampling ensured diverse representation among participants. Structural equation modeling (SEM) applied analyze using SPSS 25 AMOS 24 software for thorough statistical examination. The results indicate that traits, such as narcissism jealousy, significantly predict e-consumers. Furthermore, has direct influence on their buy products. also reveals negative heighten impact intentions, demonstrating complex interaction emotional factors consumer behavior. research is one first explore relationship e-commerce within nation. ABSTRACT The term dark triad is an assemblage of the three personality traits, that is, Machiavellianism, Narcissism, and Psychopathy. Recently, these traits have gained prominence as both direct indirect antecedents consumption‐related constructs in marketing literature, signalling heightened scholarly interest consumer behaviour. This study adopts a hybrid systematic review methodology, considered two‐pronged approach comprising framework‐based bibliometric methods, analysing 251 articles sourced from two largest citation abstract databases: Web Science Scopus. We offered panoramic overview domain consumption research, using selected techniques toolbox (e.g. cartographic analysis, charting publication‐related metrics, mapping citation‐related metrics visualisation) TCM content analysis. First, we uncovered performance trends depicting key domain. Second, deciphered intellectual structure by delineating elaborating on themes such (1) Psychopathy , (2) Narcissism (3) Materialism (4) Machiavellianism . ABSTRACT Extant literature suggests that personal values influence consumers' choice, intention, and preference for sustainable environment‐friendly products. By adopting a replicative systematic‐cum‐quantitative approach, this bibliometric review attempts to map the existing literature, which jointly studies consumption. Choosing from toolbox, we employed diverse set of analyses such as performance analysis, co‐authorship cartographic thematic mapping, evolution on refined dataset comprising 419 peer‐reviewed journal articles 187 journals. The findings synthesis point six distinct topical clusters orchestrate present intellectual structure, along with identifying top contributors constituents in domain. Purpose This study aims to offer a comprehensive hybrid systematic review of peer-reviewed literature on capital structure existing in conjunction with corporate sustainability, highlighting current research trends and proposing future directions. Design/methodology/approach systematically reviews 182 journal articles retrieved from Scopus Web Science. Using the SPAR-4-SLR protocol theory-context-characteristics methods framework, integrates framework-based content analysis bibliometric tools ensure methodological rigour objectivity. Findings The indicates that within sustainability paradigm is primarily shaped by two focal points: indices strategic decisions aimed at optimising structure. Despite recent advances, several promising avenues sustainable finance still need be explored, presenting opportunities for research. Purpose This study presents a systematic review of “employee happiness” research from 1991–2023. In this way, aims to critically appraise the existing literature, and synthesize themes, thereby, paving clearer understanding construct, along with providing future agenda.
