Lepidopteran insects are a major threat to global agriculture, causing significant crop losses and economic damage. Traditional pest control methods becoming less effective due the rapid evolution of insecticide resistance. This study explores current status genomic characteristics 1315 records, alongside an overview relevant research, utilizing advanced functional genomics techniques, including RNA-seq CRISPR/Cas9 gene-editing technologies uncover molecular mechanisms underlying Our analysis revealed variability in genome size, assembly quality, chromosome number, which may influence species' biology resistance mechanisms. We identified key resistance-associated genes pathways, detoxification metabolic help these evade chemical control. By employing we directly manipulated confirm their roles resistance, demonstrating potential for targeted interventions management.
