Abstract Scientific public engagement activities and participation in bioscience discussions need to be open everyone, as they play a significant role connecting the general research breaking down barriers of scientific skepticism. In society increasingly shaped by progress, it is crucial that regardless their background or ability, feels empowered participate these conversations. However, this not usually case for blind low‐vision communities who are often excluded, part due outreach events being historically limited visual imagery. To break such barriers, we organized multisensory exhibition Cambridge Festival 2024. The initiative was inspired Monash Sensory Science, targeted program designed engage individuals blind, have low vision diverse needs. Our aim use novel, tactile informative models explore immune system central nervous health disease, focusing on two inflammation models: traumatic brain injury multiple sclerosis. fostered involvement community through posters, resin plaster models, interactive experiences involving heat, sound, poetry photography. Science held during March 2024 only promoted equality but also reminded us true innovation lies collective efforts inclusive community.
