BACKGROUND The rapid progression and integration of digital technologies into public health have reshaped the global landscape care delivery disease prevention. In pursuit better population accessibility, many countries integrated interventions their systems, such as web-based consultations, electronic records, telemedicine. Despite increasing prevalence relevance in varying definitions, there has been a shortage studies examining whether these align with established definition core characteristics (DiPH) interventions. Hence, imperative need for scoping review emerges to explore breadth literature dedicated this subject. Tuberculosis remains a significant global health issue, with adherence to treatment essential for positive outcomes. This systematic review evaluated the effectiveness of patient-centered digital interventions (e.g., mobile apps, SMS reminders, video-observed therapy) in promoting self-care behaviors among people pulmonary tuberculosis and identified implementation challenges. A studies published between 2019 2024 was conducted across six databases, guided by PRISMA framework. Eligible included adults tuberculosis, utilized reported outcomes on adherence, completion rates, patient knowledge, quality life, cost-effectiveness, satisfaction. The study designs consisted randomized controlled trials, quasi-experimental studies, observational control groups. Data were synthesized narratively due heterogeneity Twenty from 12 countries, involving over 9,000 participants, included. Digital showed improvements out ten but evidence improved rates less conclusive. Patients generally found acceptable satisfactory. Implementation challenges technological barriers, connectivity issues, privacy concerns. Facilitators user-friendly design, contextual customization, adequate support. Patient-centered promise enhance have fewer clear effects rates. Future research should address explore long-term impacts knowledge life.
