The proliferation of mobile technology has revolutionised language learning, particularly with the advent learning applications. This qualitative study investigates motivations, preferences, and challenges non-English major learners in Malaysia using apps to improve English speaking proficiency. is motivated by persistent challenge Malaysian encounter attaining English-speaking proficiency due limited practice classroom constraints. Mobile offer versatile platforms live sessions personalised addressing these obstacles. Drawing upon Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) 3, research explores participants’ perceptions usefulness, ease use, psychological factors influencing their acceptance interactive like Duolingo specialised speaking-focused such as Tandem. Through in-depth interviews 20 university students, findings reveal diverse motivations driving app usage, ranging from career prospects personal enrichment cultural curiosity. While participants report positive impacts on pronunciation, vocabulary acquisition, fluency, they also related pronunciation feedback accuracy, self-discipline, limitations app-based instruction. Recommendations include customising content align individual enhancing features address accuracy motivation issues, integrating traditional instruction for a more comprehensive experience. highlights importance accommodating majors’ needs apps.

This paper describes a Capability Approach analysis of the capabilities, functionings, and conversion factors reported by learners on workplace-based mobile language learning courses. The study used secondary data from student satisfaction surveys 556 who were all recent migrants to US using courses English. Abstract The computer-aided writing system first builds an English corpus, which mainly includes several aspects such as corpus selection, preprocessing, formula algorithm design, sentence breaking, and judging whether the sentences are aligned or not. Anchor alignment cannot perform a job alone; it must work in conjunction with named entity recognition technology to study connection role between two. Jieba participle utilizes idea of HMM model, is researched calculated by Viterbi algorithm, recognize new words outside dictionary. A computer-assisted introduced into language teaching promote conscious deep student participation, activate classroom teaching, improve learning effectiveness. results showed that there was also significant correlation text length ability (P=0.003) on T-units (P=0.001).
