Abstract This review was conducted in order to determine the specific role of intelligent technologies individual learning experience. The research work included consider articles published between 2014 and 2024, found Web Science, Scopus, ERIC databases, selected among 933 мarticles on topic. Advances in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and sensors are significantly impacting multiple areas, including education workplaces. Following the PRISMA methodology, this review explores current status of using AI to support training assessment professionals. We examined 83 research papers, analyzing (1) targeted professionals, (2) skills assessed, (3) algorithms utilized, (4) data devices employed, (5) fusion techniques (6) architecture proposed platforms, (7) management ethics privacy, (8) validations proposals. The highlights a trend evaluating healthcare professionals (especially surgeons) motivated by critical role hands-on these professions. Besides, reveals that certain technologies, like transfer learning explainable AI, not widely utilized despite their huge potential. Finally, underscores most proposals remain within domain, lacking integration maturity needed for sustained use real-world environments. Therefore, currently available insights can guide researchers aiming improve and, consequently, education.
