This study examines student responses upon the implementation of Biochemistry Laboratory Manual which focused on science-economics. The manual was implemented poracticum classes for 3 consecutive schedules. Students' cognitive, affective, and psychomotor learning outcomes were recorded that implies their to topic. Validated questions questionnaires used administered before first after third round practicum classes. Data analysis employed Student T-tests. It revealed moderately enhances biochemistry achievements (N-Gain) students responded positive very toward topic at 80% 18% respectively.

Integrating virtual laboratories (VLs) with science education promotes inquiry-based learning by providing an interactive, dynamic environment in which students actively engage scientific concepts. While previous research highlights the effectiveness of VLs as tools IBL process, few studies have embedded entire inquiry process within or explored their application flipped classrooms. This study addresses these gaps proposing a Structured Inquiry-Based Virtual Lab (SIVL) approach to improve students' physics achievement, motivation, and skills classroom. A quasi-experimental design was used 120 ninth grade from three intact classes lower-secondary school located central China. The were randomly assigned one groups implement using SIVL, General (GVL), traditional classroom (TFC) laboratory method, respectively. results revealed SIVL improved skills, intrinsic extrinsic indicates its innovative model for education. Chemistry education plays a pivotal role in fostering scientific literacy and addressing global challenges. However, traditional curricula often fail to connect abstract concepts real-world applications, leading disengagement among students. This study examines how integrating problems into chemistry enhances student engagement prepares them address pressing Grounded constructivist, contextual, situated learning theories, the paper presents actionable teaching strategies, including problem-based case studies. These strategies contextualize chemical principles within issues such as climate change, sustainable energy, public health. The also addresses practical challenges implementation, resource limitations, curricular rigidity, assessment complexities, offers mitigation leveraging digital tools industry partnerships. Empirical evidence highlights effectiveness of these methods improving conceptual understanding, critical thinking, interdisciplinary collaboration. By aligning with contemporary practices needs, this advocates for transformative shift pedagogy, ensuring students develop skills, capacity navigate complex

Purpose of the study: Chemistry education is continuously improving to provide appropriate learning for students. The dynamic shaping technology in induces innovative strategies including utilization virtual laboratories. This study explores topic examining effectiveness laboratories learner’s academic achievement secondary level chemistry. Methodology: To facilitate meta-analysis, Preferred Reporting Items Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) protocol was used. Only 17 studies that met inclusion criteria were included study. Using Review Manager Version (RevMan) 5.4 software, standardized mean difference (SMD) used measure effect laboratory enhancing learners’ achievement. Main Findings: meta-analysis discovered size SMD = 0.98 which can be interpreted as positively large Sub-groping also utilized this due heterogeneous collected data revealed sizes according region, grade level, chemistry, duration implementation. Novelty/Originality aims synthesize current on use chemistry focus secondary-level provides a comprehensive overview teachers, researchers, policy-makers basis integration education. may help instructors design utilizing simulations.

Abstract Teaching in rural schools is frequently marked by challenges ranging from restricted technological infrastructure and geographical remoteness to sparse professional development. Guided the Unified Theory of Acceptance Use Technology (UTAUT), this paper reports findings a sequential explanatory mixed-methods study that investigated Virtual Lab (VL) adoption South African schools. Data collected through questionnaire (N = 186) semi-structured interviews 4) involving life sciences teachers were analysed using descriptive statistics thematic analysis. The revealed surprising trends VL adoption, indicating family friends have greater influence than colleages. Contrary conventional wisdom on teacher motivation, underscores learners’ enthusiasm as pivotal. Despite reservations regarding facilitating conditions, improved technology access prior assumptions scarcity Nevertheless, while such low competence inadequate development persist, school express readiness for signalling potential increased usage under favourable conditions.
