Objective:
The
purpose
of
this
study
was
to
assess
the
causal
effects
circulating
plasma
proteins
on
ankylosing
spondylitis
(AS)
and
explore
potential
therapeutic
targets.
Methods:
used
protein
quantitative
trait
loci
(pQTLs)
for
thousands
from
nine
genome-wide
association
studies
(GWAS)
as
instrumental
variables.
relationship
between
genetically
predicted
AS
assessed
through
Mendelian
randomization
(MR)
analysis.

analyses,
including
colocalization
analysis,
Steiger
filtering
protein-altering
variant
assessment,
protein–protein
interaction
(PPI),
pathway
enrichment

conducted
