Prematurity
is
becoming
a
real
public
health
issue
as
more
and
children
are
being
born
prematurely,
alongside
higher
prevalence
of
neurodevelopmental
disorders.
Early
intervention
programs
in
Neonatal
Intensive
Care
Units
(NICUs)
correspond
to
these
uni-
or
multi-sensorial
solicitations
aiming
prevent

Intervention
studies
designed
to
improve
neurodevelopmental
outcomes
of
premature
infants
in
the
neonatal
intensive
care
unit
(NICU)
were
evaluated

systematic
review

research
methods,
illuminate
effectiveness

recommendations
for
future
research.

positive
effects
on
neurodevelopment

infants.
However,
there

limitations
that
threaten
validity
included
studies.
Going
forward,
components
developmental
should

operationalized
more
consistently,
greater
effort

into
ensuring
treatment
fidelity,
