Abstract:
In
response
to
the
COVID-19
pandemic
outbreak
in
March
2020,
Norwegian
government
closed
schools
and
limited
leisure
activities.
this
cross-sectional
study,
we
examined
how
different
types
of
digital
versus
in-person
social
interactions
media
use
were
associated
with
loneliness
mental
health
problems
among
adolescents
during
initial
lockdown.
Participants
(
N
=
703,
79.7%
girls
,

17.3
years)
completed
a
questionnaire
assessing
loneliness,
problems,
use,
interactions.

interaction
