Background The effective treatment of child conduct problems is understood to rely on a range therapist competencies, yet these have rarely been an explicit focus research. In this practitioner review, we examine core competencies for the delivery evidence‐based parenting interventions in early‐to‐middle childhood. These are examined light research into common elements shared by interventions, literature regarding challenges and conceptualisations such other fields mental health. Abstract Practitioners’ characteristics and actions influence the implementation of evidence-based programs, but little is known about practitioner’s role in parent-based programs. The present qualitative study first to explore perceptions parents professionals regarding practitioners’ which a parent program directed at children’s behavior problems.
